Prepare a consistent timeline
List education, qualifications, work and other responsibilities with the correct dates and titles. Check the details against records before entering them. If the form asks for a gap or an explanation, answer the question honestly rather than changing dates to hide it.
Use the precise competition and stream name. A specialist cadetship may need information different from a General Service application. Keep the official terms open so you can check the condition being asked about instead of assuming a similar previous form used the same rule.
Write clearly about your own experience
If you are asked for experience or motivation, describe what you actually did and why it relates to the question. School, college, work, sport, volunteering and ordinary responsibilities can provide real evidence. Do not copy a fictional model answer into your history.
Check that claims are supported. Coordinating a group task is different from managing employees; helping a project is different from owning its result. Accurate wording is easier to explain later in an interview.
Check the practical details before submission
Review your email address, telephone number and any confirmation fields. The Army cadetship terms specifically stress accurate contact information. Save the submission confirmation and a personal copy of the information where the official process permits it.
Check whether required evidence is supplied now or brought later. Submitting a form does not automatically mean that eligibility has been established. If a condition is unclear, use the recruiting contact rather than selecting an answer you cannot support.
After submitting
Record the application date, competition and next instruction. Monitor inbox and spam folders. Keep correspondence together so that you can identify an invitation or query promptly.
PSP helps you prepare; it does not submit or edit an official application. Never share your application login or identity documents in a practice answer. If you identify a material error after submission, ask the official contact how to correct it.
Questions about this stage
Can I use a model answer word for word?
Use examples to understand structure, then supply your own truthful information. Fictional achievements should not become application claims.
Where is the application form?
Use the relevant link on the official current competitions page while that competition is open.
